MoU for setting up social sciences academy

SHIMOGA: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by vice-chancellors of Kuvempu University, Karnatak University, Gulbarga University, Bangalore University, Mangalore University and Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and the Belgian Government in Chennai on November 11 for establishment of the Karnataka Academy of Social Sciences and Humanities (KASSH) at Kuvempu University.

King Albert II signed the MoU on behalf of the Belgian Government.

The KASSH is being set up jointly by the State Government, Kuvempu University, VTU, the Flemish Inter University Council and the Government of Belgium.
