Siemens pays Rs. 3 per share

MUMBAI: Siemens has recommended a dividend of Rs. 3 per share of Rs. 2 each for the year ended September 30, 2008. The company has allotted bonus shares held in March in the ratio of one share for every equity share. In the 12 months ended September 30, 2007. It has announced a dividend of Rs. 4.80 per share on the old capital. The company has registered a net profit of Rs. 593.33 crore in the year ended September 30, 2008 against Rs. 596.54 crore. Total income is higher at Rs. 8,364.45 crore against Rs. 7,825.33 crore.
