Computer centre inaugurated

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Schedule Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Minster A.K. Balan inaugurated the Cyber Sri computer training centre here on Wednesday.

The Cyber Sri centre, jointly set up by the Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe Welfare Department the and Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT), is aimed at imparting computer training for students from backward communities.

Software development, visual communication and 3D animation are some of the areas in which students will be imparted training at the centre.
