Dempo edges past East Bengal

Margao: Climax Lawrence struck in the 78th minute to help Dempo edge past East Bengal in the ONGC I-League football, here on Wednesday.

The win takes Dempo’s tally to 17 points from 10 matches, the same as Churchill brothers but is placed fourth because of inferior goal difference. East Bengal remains on seventh place with 12 points from 10 matches. — PTI
