Photo-stalkers’ wares on show

Display: Cameras galore

SHIMOGA: An exhibition of still and movie cameras — of different periods and models — organised as part of the photo exhibition on air pollution, at the Ambedkar Bhavan by the Regional Transport Office here on Wednesday, was a big draw.

The cameras on display ranged from the vintage ones, roll cameras, 35 mm cameras, DSLR cameras, to the latest digital range. This particularly aroused a lot of interest among the visitors at the exhibition.

The Deputy Commissioner for Transport, Maruti V. Sambrani, Regional Transport Officer C. Mallikarjun, noted photographer Hanumanthrao Jois, president of the Shimoga Round Table Adarsh, president of the Shimoga taluk Photographers’ Association Sridhar, and photographer Manjunath Kuduvalli were among those who were present on the occasion.
