NSS in final

KOCHI: NSS (Tripunithura) and the host Cochin Refineries School ‘A’ entered the final of the Refinian Cup inter-school cricket tournament at Ambalamugal on Thursday. Cochin Refineries ‘A’ defeated its ‘B’ team by 39 runs, while NSS crushed Chinmaya Vidyalaya (Tripunithura) by eight wickets.

The scores: Chinmaya Vidyalaya (Tripunithura) 141 for seven (Ajay 39, Sanjay Suresh 30) lost to NSS (Tripunithura) 142 for two (Mohanakrishnan 55, T. R. Praveen 38 n.o.). Cochin Refineries School ‘A’ 129 for seven (Harikumar 52) bt Cochin Refineries ‘B’ 90.
