Crescent RHSS, MGM HSS qualify

KOZHIKODE: Crescent Residential HSS, Velimukku (Malappuram) and MGM HSS, Engapuzha (Kozhikode), have qualified for the all-India finals of the Arsenal Tata Tea Soccer Stars schools football tournament.

The two teams made it after two days of competition at the Corporation Stadium, where 66 schools from across the State were in the fray. In the final, Crescent won 4-3 via the tie-breaker after the regulation period failed to produce a goal.

The all-India finals will be held in Kolkata next April. — Principal Correspondent
