Plea for action

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The action council of the High Court Bench stir in the city has urged the Central and State governments to discuss and take measures on the unfavourable stand of Kerala High Court Chief Justice in setting up a High Court Bench in the capital city. In a press release issued here on Thursday, the action council asked the Centre to initiate action against the contradictory stand of the Chief Justice by enforcing Section 128 of the State Re-organisation Act. On the 287th day of the stir on Thursday, lawyer N. Mohanan Nair, clerk Sasi and FRAT representative Kaimanom Prakash observed a 24-hour hunger strike.
