Bomb hoax

Thiruvananthapuram: An anonymous caller warned the Kozhikode police control room that a crude bomb will go off at Kaniyapuram town at 4 p.m. on Thursday.

The Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad checked important landmarks and public places in the township and called the threat a hoax.

The police said that efforts were on to identify the mischief maker. – Staff Reporter
