Weighing scales galore

NEW DELHI: The last day of campaigning saw both the Congress and the BJP taking to use of weighing scales to tilt the balance of voting in their favour. The Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly and BJP candidate from Janakpuri, Jagdish Mukhi, was weighed in vegetables by his supporters at Chanakya Place during the day. Meanwhile, former Councillor and Congress candidate from Greater Kailash, Jitender Singh Kochar, was also weighed by his supporters in the constituency -- the weights were not vegetables, but fruits – probably because he is seeking to upset the applecart of V. K. Malhotra.
