Construction firm gets award

Coimbatore: Samraj & Co. Civil Engineers and Builders has been given the Prime Achievers Excellent Services Award by the Marina Fine Arts at a function held at Russian Culture Centre, Chennai.

Records

The Coimbatore-based construction firm came into being in 1983 and has obtained ISO 9001:2000 award and has found mention in the Limca Book of Records and Guinness Book of Records for its performance in the construction of Trade Fair Centre Phase I with 32,000 sq ft area on time and 90,000 sq ft Phase II in a record time of 100 days.

According to Managing Partners P. Raju and G. Mounsawami, the firm has so far constructed 60,00,000 sq ft.

Works are progressing in and around Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
