Ashley Design rechristened

CHENNAI: Ashley Design and Engineering Services (ADES), which has been active in the design and engineering space for the last two years, is re-named as Defiance Technologies. Detroit-based Defiance Testing and Engineering was acquired by Ashok Leyland in 2007. With international majors - many of them Defiance Testing and Engineering’s global customers, enlarging their manufacturing footprints and seeking testing support closer to hand, plans are afoot to replicate Defiance’s testing capabilities in India. — Special Correspondent
