BHUBANESWAR: The proceedings of Orissa Assembly were adjourned for the day on Friday as a mark of respect to former Prime Minister V.P. Singh who passed away in New Delhi on Thursday. The House was adjourned without transacting any business after Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Opposition Leader J.B. Patnaik, Industry Minister Biswabhushan Harichandan and others condoled the death of the former Prime Minister.
