Marykom enters final

Ningbo City (China): M.C. Marykom beat Korea’s Ok Jong 8-3 to enter the final in the 46kg section in the fifth World women’s boxing championship here on Friday.

N. Usha (57kg) was the only other Indian to make the finals. The other two semifinalists, Chhoto Laura (50kg) and L. Sarita (52kg) bowed out and they will have to be content with bronze medals. — PTI
