VIJAYAWADA: Top seeds had an easy outing in the doubles first round of the sub-junior segments of boys and girls in the 70th National sub-junior table tennis championship at DRRMC Indoor Stadium here on Friday. Top seed North Bengal’s Rajib Sarkar and Subham Basak defeated UP’s Kshitij Singh and Shivam 11-7, 10-12, 11-8, 11-7, while Mizoram’s Isaak and Vanal rallied back to defeat AP’s Anas Ali and Arsh Agarwal 5-11, 7-11, 11-2, 12-10, 11-9.
