Ex-cop killed in accident

NEW DELHI: A 70-year-old retired Delhi Police inspector was killed in an accident on Pankha Road in Janakpuri here on Thursday. Jaipal Singh, a resident of Dabri, was crossing the road around noon when a motorcycle hit him. He fell on the road and sustained multiple injuries. Passers-by rushed him to Mata Channan Devi Hospital where he was declared dead. Accused Arvind has been arrested.
