Eye donation

KRISHNAGIRI: Following the advice of the president of Lions Club of Hosur Sipcot Dhanasekakaran, the sons of a woman donated the eyes of their mother who died recently.

Jaya Prakash Jain and Om Prakash Jain donated the eyes of their mother Dhanalakshmi Ammal, who died recently.

A team of doctors from Narayana Nethralaya received the eyes and said that it will be donated to two persons within 48 hours. Due to the steps taken by the Lions Club of Hosur Sipcot, so far 10 people have got vision, says a release from the Club.
