SALEM: Members of Salem Rural West unit of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) observed a fast in Attayampatti near here on Saturday in protest against the alleged attack on the convoy of their leader Jayalalithaa at Pasumpon village in Ramanathapuram district when she went to participate in Thevar Jayanthi. Party’s propaganda secretary M. Thambidurai presided. The members also condemned the DMK Government for not providing adequate security to their leader.
