“Only government can provide security to hotels”

CHENNAI: While the hotel industry is strengthening security measures as instructed by security officials, only the government can provide adequate security against terrorist threats, M.P. Purushothaman, President, Federation of Hotel and Restaurants Associations of India, said on Saturday

Speaking after a meeting with police officers on enhancing security measures following the Mumbai terror attack, he said most hotels were upgrading their security systems.
