Call to hold ‘yagnam’ for peace

HYDERABAD: Anantapur-based Andhra Pradesh Karnataka Gayatri Upasana Samstha and Sri Veda Brahmana Seva Sangam have called for holding of ‘Akshara Koti Gayatri Japa Yagnam’ by Brahmins. It was necessary in order to establish peace in the country, said Vinod Mahavadi and Kasi Vijaya Kumar, coordinators of the samstha and the sangam respectively. — Special Correspondent
