Fishermen go on strike

PUDUKOTTAI: Fishermen of Pudukottai went on a token strike on Saturday, urging the State government to take steps to search four fishermen who went missing since Tuesday.

A. Balamurugan (26), his brother A.Chithravel (39), V. Jayabal (30) and M. Sasikumar (20), who went to sea in search of other fishermen on Tuesday, were yet to return.
