All-round show by Liaqath

HYDERABAD: Syed Liaqath Ali (five for 14 and 33 runs) helped Vidyuth Soudha register a four wicket win over C.K. Blues in the ‘C’ division knock-out cricket tournament on Saturday.

The scores: C.K. Blues 141 (Syed Liaqath Ali five for 14) lost to Vidyuth Soudha 143 for six; Chums XI 194 (Dilip 48) bt Akshit CC 89 (Rajesh five for 26).

The Hyderabad District Athletics Association (HDAA) will conduct its inter-school championship at the Osmania University grounds on December 12 from 8 a.m. Spot entries will be accepted.
