Infopark: fresh report submitted

KOCHI: The district administration has submitted a fresh report to the State Level Empowered Committee (SELC) seeking approval for the land value fixed by the district level purchase committee for the land to be acquired for the second phase expansion of Infopark.

The SELC had rejected a previous report of the district administration on 35 acres of land on the ground that land remained scattered. The SELC pointed out that at least 25 acres of the said land should have been a single block. The fresh report informs the SELC that consent letters to surrender 50 acres from about 150 landowners had been received.
