India TV defends broadcast

New Delhi: Defending its broadcast of a telephonic conversation with two terrorists hiding in Nariman House and Oberoi hotel during the Mumbai attacks, India TV on Saturday said it helped security agencies ascertain the origin of terrorists involved. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued a notice to India TV. The channel has been given time till December 1 to reply. — PTI
