TENHIPALAM: Calicut University’s Department of Adult, Continuing Education and Extension Services conducted a day-long seminar on ‘Toxicity in vegetables’ on the university campus here on Saturday. K.K. Vijayan, former Professor of Chemistry, Calicut University, inaugurated the seminar sponsored by the Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi. A. Nujum, environmentalist, spoke on ‘Health and toxin-free farming.’ P.A. Radhakrishnan spoke on ‘How to cleanse the human body of toxins.’ K.V. Sivaprasad presented a paper on ‘How to prevent toxins in vegetables.’ C.
