NEW DELHI: Well known Urdu poet Rifat Sarosh passed away in neighbouring Noida on Sunday after a prolonged illness. He was 84. He is survived by two sons and two daughters, including Shaheena Khan, a journalist with All India Radio. He has authored 55 books and was a scholar in Urdu literature.
