Weavers seek aid

HYDERABAD: The AP Weavers’ United Front sought an assistance of Rs. 20,000 to each weaver, since the loan waiver announced by the Chief Minister was applicable to only 15 p.c. of weavers who were members of coop. societies. G. Ramamurthy, chairman, criticised the government for not acting on the representation submitted in October to meet their demands.
