VISAKHAPATNAM: The APSRTC Visakhapatnam Region will run special buses for the Tungabhadra Pushkarams that will take place from December 9 to 21. Keeping in view the tradition of taking a holy dip in the Tungabhadra and worshipping Sri Raghavendra Swamy at Mantralaya, a four-day special package will be introduced, says Regional Manager Nukavarapu Venkateswara Rao.

The tour covers Mantralayam, Srisailam, Mahanandi, Ahobilam and Annavaram enabling a visit to tourists of other places of worship in the Margasira month. Brand new video coaches and luxury buses have been readied for the tour, says Mr. Venkateswara Rao. Devotees may book individual tickets or an entire bus. Details can be had from the enquiry counters at the Dwaraka Bus Station.

The region has also come out with another package ‘Parijatatrayam’ for devotees owing to the significance of Dhanurmasam. The tour covers Simhachalam, Dwaraka Tirumala and Annavaram.
