Metro ridership reaches new high

New Delhi: The Delhi Metro has recorded its highest-ever ridership during the India International Trade Fair (IITF) this year with 9.5 lakh people taking the mode of transport on November 24.

The maximum ridership was due to the IITF as the Pragati Maidan station near its venue witnessed a crowd of over one lakh on each of the last six days of the fair.
