Applications invited for postal franchisee posts

VIJAYAWADA: The Department of Posts has invited applications for the posts of ‘postal franchisees’ in Krishnalanka area (Vijayawada 13) and in the Agricultural Development Bank area (Tiruvuru – 521 235).

The last date for receipt of application is December 10. The aspirants must have passed at least matriculation from a recognised university or Board of Intermediate Education and should be above 18 years of age. Preference will be given to postal pensioners and to those with a computer facility.

A security deposit of Rs. 10,000 must be paid by the franchisee in the form of a performance bank guarantee and in return, the former could earn remuneration or commission in lieu of the services provided.
