‘Guaranteed Return Plan’ launched

HYDERABAD: Aegon Religare Life Insurance on Monday announced the launch of a Guaranteed Return Plan, with tax-free returns on maturity coupled with life cover of up to five times the premium.

At a press conference, Aegon Religare CEO Rajiv Jamkhedkar said it was a single premium plan that gave a fixed annual compounded return of 7.2 per cent.

The minimum premium to be opted was Rs.50,000 and the maximum was Rs. 4 lakh he said, adding that it was designed to be very simple and thus help the policy holder with the choice.

The term was either seven years or 10 years, he said. A close ended plan, it is open for December and January’09 but he said.
