Start work for sports sub-centre soon: CPI(M)

Nagercoil: Activists of the CPI(M) staged a demonstration, led by A.V. Bellarmine, MP, in front of the collectorate here on Monday to urge the Government to set up the sub-centre of the Sports Authorities of India at the Anayadi Estate.

Later speaking to presspersons, Mr. Bellarmine said that the officials had already visited the proposed site, but not even a single step had been taken so far. Hence the Government should take immediate steps to set up the centre. MLAs R. Leemarose, G. John Joseph, State executive member, S. Noor Mohammed, district secretary, N. Murugesan and others participated.
