Bal Bharati scores win

NEW DELHI: A goal each by Divij Sahni and Rohit Sharma helped Bal Bharati Public School (Pitampura) score a 2-1 victory over JKG Senior Secondary School (Ghaziabad) in the 26th S. S. Mota Singh memorial hockey tournament at the school ground in Block-A, Janakpuri, here on Monday.

In another match in the junior section, Guru Nanak Public School (Punjabi Bagh) beat Salwan Public School (Rajinder Nagar) 3-0 through goals from Harshneet Singh, Bhavmeet Singh and Karan Marwa.

In the senior section, host S. S. Mota Singh Senior Secondary Model School outplayed Harkrishan Public School (Tilak Nagar) 5-0. Chanderhas (2), Simranjeet Singh, Amanpreet Singh and Ashmeet scored the goals.
