Bangadarshan avoids relegation

NEW DELHI: Bangadarshan Club defeated Royal Bengal Club 4-2 in the tie-break after the teams had locked 1-1 at the end of the regulation period in the DSA ‘A’ division football league relegation play-off at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Monday.

The second victory in the relegation play-off helped Bangadarshan Club to stay in the ‘A’ division for the next season.
