TNEB junior engineer held

Tirupur: N. Paneerselvam, a junior engineer of Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, was arrested from his office at Gudimangalam under Udumlapet taluk for allegedly taking bribe from a consumer on Monday.

The official was caught ‘red-handed’ by a vigilance team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police Shanmugapriya while he was accepting Rs 2,700 from Kumar, a resident of Gudimangalam panchayat union.
