Raid in restaurants and hotels

TIRUNELVELI: A team of corporation officials headed by Commissioner T. Mohan conducted surprise check in the hotels and restaurants on Tuesday.

When the officials happened to see chopped heads of chicken in a stream of drainage water freely flowing through the kitchen, Mr. Mohan directed the restaurant manager and the chef to keep the kitchen tidy.

“Everything should be in order within a week,” the commissioner ordered.
