‘Yenimido Adugu’ book being released by SKR Government Women’s College student on Tuesday. IT Commissioner Chandrasekharan, writers and others are also seen. —

Rajahmundry: ‘Yenimido Adugu’ - a book on a warning to extra marital relations written by Mondepu Prasad, Additional Commissioner, Income Tax, was released by P. Lavanya, Telugu literature student of SKR Government Women’s College on Tuesday.

Writers Kothapalli Srimannarayana, Chaganti Sarat Babu and others participated in the programme. I.T. Commissioner Chandasekharan was the chief guest.

Srimannarayana said it was appropriate to release the book in Kandukuri Rajyalakshmi College where Veeresalingam Pantulu started social revolutions. After 200 years the society was in the same condition, when Veeresalingam started reforms, he said. Speaking on the occasion Sarat Babu said marital relation was very important in Hindu tradition and woman gives such importance and divorce is worst thing to happen in one’s life. He felt that the writer had impact of TV soaps. Pattabhi Ramarao, writer and publisher and IT Commissioner Chandrasekharan also spoke.

College principal Annapurna and others participated in the programme.
