Aid for bridges

CHENNAI: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has sanctioned assistance for 5 bridges for Tamil Nadu costing Rs 127.01 crore.

According to NABARD Chief General Manager K.V.Raghavulu two bridges would be constructed in Thanjavur district and one each in Cuddalore, Namakkal and Ramanathapuram districts.

The project sanctioning committee for Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) sanctioned the bridge projects and allotted Rs 101.6 crore under RIDF tranche XIV.
