International book fair in Kochi from December 5 to 14

KOCHI: The 12th international book festival Kochi, will be held at the Ernakulathappan Grounds from December 5 to 14.

Novelist Anand will inaugurate it. Opposition leader Oommen Chandy, poet Sugathakumari, former Rubber Board chairman P.C. Cyriac, K.V. Thomas, MLA, District Collector M. Beena and others will address the gathering.

Cultural programmes and literary discussions by noted writers and social activists will be organised on all days of the festival. More than 200 stalls will be put up at the fair. More than 70,000 people visited the fair last year, according to the organisers.
