‘Academies must work together’

Bangalore: The recently appointed Chairman of the Karnataka Sahitya Academy M.H. Krishnaiah has said there is dire need for academies such as the Sahitya, the Nataka, music and dance, the Lalitakala and Shilpakala to work together for a common cause. Speaking to presspersons, he said that though all the academies, and the Kannada Development Authority and Kannada Book Authority have been striving for the development of Kannada, collective efforts would produce desired results.
