Margao: Tamil Nadu gained three points by the virtue of its first innings lead as the under-16 South Zone Vijay Merchant Trophy cricket match against Hyderabad ended in a tame draw, here on Tuesday.

Tamil Nadu now has four points from two matches, while Hyderabad has two points from as many matches.

The scores: TN 395 for seven decl. & 36 for two vs. Hyderabad 261 (Rohit Rayudu 58, N. Vinay Rao 109, Aushik Srinivas six for 57, S. Hukku two for 38, Nirmal Kumar two for 14). — PTI
