For self-reliance: Zilla panchayat president C.N. Balakrishna speaking on the occasion of International Day for Persons with Disabilities in Hassan on Wednesday. He said the Government had sanctioned mobility aids for 1,200 physically challenged children which would be distributed soon. He advised parents to make best use of government schemes and provide their children with a good education so that they could become self-reliant citizens.
