The Hindu’s online contest for students

COIMBATORE: The Hindu Newspaper in Education (NIE) in association with Everonn’s education portal www.classontheweb.com will organise an online contest that will test the Intelligence Quotient (IQ) and aptitude of school students.

The contest will be held from December 5 to 7 and is open to students between standards VI and XII.

They can take the test from anywhere.

Registration is open till December 7. The test will have 30 questions that will have to be answered in 30 minutes.

It will analyse students’ logical, numerical and verbal skills.

Results will be announced on the website on December 10.

The first prize includes a purse of Rs. 5,000, a trophy and a one year subscription to the website.

Second and third prize will carry Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 1,000 besides the trophy and subscription.

There will be 10 consolation prizes.

Registration forms have been dispatched to all the NIE schools. Students may contact the respective principals for the same. Registration can also be done online or at the newspaper office.
