HYDERABAD: The Canada based Academy of Learning Career and Business College has tied up with the city based Crux Management Services (P) Ltd to float ‘Learning Works’, which will offer the Academy’s internationally acclaimed integrated courses in various parts of the country. Ben Shtang, Chairman of Academy of Learning and Vikas Singh, Director of Learning Works told a press conference that Indian students have the advantage of getting the best training at home without being burdened by the expenses incurred to go abroad. Mr. Shtang said development of training campus in India will enhance the employability of people through learning, prepare them for a vocation of their choice and reduce the cost for businesses to train workers. Mr. Singh said to start with courses in Retail Management, Finance and Insurance, Information Technology, Office Administration, International Hospitality Management and Business Administration would be offered and customised courses for the industry would be added in the process of time. Course feeThe course fee would depend on the number of hours and on an average it would work out to be around Rs. 3,000 for 80 hours. The courses range from six months to 18 months and are flexible to suit the students’ needs and choice. The target group is students or working executives aiming to acquire additional skills. He said efforts were on to accredit the courses and discussions were on with institutions like IGNOU. ApprovedHowever, he said candidates and the companies were keen on quality of skills imparted.
