Bangalore: The Gatorade Pacers-2009 talent hunt for fast bowlers was launched here on Wednesday. Former India speedster Javagal Srinath launched the program which aims to screen more than 5000 seamers in the under-15, under-19 and under-22 age-groups spread across Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh and Pune. Srinath visited Rashtriya Military School, St. Joseph High School and St. Joseph’s Indian High School here and briefed students and the teaching staff about the talent hunt’s third edition. The trials will be held in Chennai on January 24 and 25, at Hyderabad on January 25 and in Bangalore on January 31 and February 1. The final trials will be held in New Delhi on February 3 and 4.
