Aerobatics show by Navy team

Kochi: The aerobatic team of the Indian Navy — Sagar Pawan — will perform aerobatics here at 4.30 p.m. as part of Navy Day on Thursday.

The highly skilled pilots on four fighter aircraft have already performed in several cities all over the country to wide acclaim. The air show being held at the Naval Air Station, INS Garuda, would be followed by the ‘Beating the Retreat’ ceremony by the Naval Band.

The public has to be seated for the show by 4.15 p.m. Entry for spectators other than invitees would be through VIMAN gate near the Old Mattancherry Railway Station at Willingdon Island.

Spectators are barred from carrying mobile phones, hand bags and other articles in view of security.
