Registration staff plan stir

Coimbatore: The Joint Action Committee of various employees’ associations of the Registration Department has said that employees of the department will go on leave on December 8 to press various demands.

In a release here, the committee said that vacancies in the department should be filled, promotions given and temporary staff appointed on contingency basis to handle the increasing workload. Staff suspended following raids by Vigilance Department officials should be reinstated.
