Narrow win for Bharat Dynamics Ltd.

HYDERABAD: Bharat Dynamics Ltd. recorded a 2-1 win over City College Old Boys in the SAAP Budweiser Premier League football championship at the Gymkhana Grounds here.

CCOB took the lead in the fifth minute when Rahim Baig found the target. However, BDL equalised within six minutes when Mallikarjun slotted in.

BDL scored the match-winner when Faisal headed in a cross from Amul.

AV College wins

AV College won the team championship in the Osmania University inter-collegiate boxing championship held at the Lal Bahadur Stadium here.

Nithin hits century

A century by Nithin Kadam (102 not out, 10x4, 4x6) helped Ajanta team record a 103-run win over Ellora team in the 24th all-India Atomic Energy cricket tournament here.

AP volleyball teams

Andhra Pradesh Volleyball Association named the teams to take part in the 57th senior National volleyball championship for men and women to be held in Visakhapatnam from December 19 to 28.

The selected players will attend a coaching camp at the KVBR Indoor Stadium (Yousufguda) here from December 4 to 18.
