TIRUNELVELI: Tamil Nadu Electricity Board’s Tirunelveli urban division has urged the public to contact the TNEB grievance cell over telephone to register their complaints. The consumers need not come to the office in person for this purpose.

According to Executive Engineer, TNEB (Distribution), Urban Area, S. Pitchaimuthu, the public can contact the TNEB grievance cell functioning at Samathanapuram round-the-clock on phone numbers 0462–12660, 0462–2562900, 97894 76861, 97894 76867, 97894 76868 or 97894 76869 in case of power failure.

The consumers should also give their service number while registering complaints.

Residents of Tirunelveli Junction, Perumalpuram, Maharaja Nagar, Melapalayam, Tirunelveli Town, Thatchanallur, Pettai, Samathanapuram, V.M. Chathram, Vannerpet, Alangulam Town, Thaazhaiyooththu Town, Nanguneri Town, Moolaikkaraipatti, Courtallam, Aayikudi, Shencottai Town, Surandai Town, Keezhapaavoor, Thiruvenkatam, Kallidaikurichi, Veeravanallur, Vickramasingapuram, Alwarkurichi, Ambasamudram Town, Cheranmahadevi, Gopalasamudram, Mukkoodal, Valliyoor, Panagudi, Thisaiyanvilai Town, Ervadi, Kalakkad Town, Thirukkurunkudi, Sivagiri, Royagiri, Vasudevanallur, Sundarapandiapuram and Vadakarai could contact these numbers to register complaints.
