VISAKHAPATNAM: An instant-cum-advanced supplementary examination for B.Ed. course will be conducted by Andhra University from December 15. Candidates who appeared for the October 2008 examinations and passed in all but one subject have to write the instant examination while those who failed in two or more subjects or were absent have to write the advanced supplementary examination, according to Special Registrar and Controller of Examinations, AU, K. Samrajyalakshmi. Eligible candidates should register themselves at the college where they had studied and pay the prescribed fee of Rs.2,000 in the case of instant examination and Rs.1,500 per subject and Rs.8,000 for whole examination for the advanced supplementary candidates. The last date for payment of examination fee by the candidate is December 8. Principals of the university B.Ed. colleges have to submit the galley along with consolidated demand draft to the university by December 10. No further extension of date or receipt with penalty likely, she added. Hall-ticketThe examination would be conducted only on AU Campus and the hall-tickets issued earlier would hold good for the instant-cum-advanced supplementary examination. If necessary, duplicate hall-tickets could be obtained on payment of Rs.100 by way of demand draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.
